  • Patricia Ann Ake, 84, of Hot Springs Village passed away on October 12, 2015. She was born October 6, 1931 in West Allis, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Wyota Hust. She graduated from Marquette University with a Dental Hygienist degree. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she served as a member of the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel and the Helping Hands Ministry. She also volunteered at St. Joseph’s (now St. Vincent’s) Hospital in the gift shop for 17 years.

    Pat was accomplished at cross stitching and other various needle work as a member of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America and the Spa City Stitchers.

    Pat is preceded in death by her brother, Henry “Hank” Hust, and brother-in-law, Marvin ‘Tex” Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Lewis “Lew” E. Ake, along with their three sons and their families; Thomas E. Ake, his wife Susan, along with their three daughters, Elizabeth, Katherine, and Natalie; Dr. Timothy J. Ake and his wife Sandy, and their two daughters, Stephanie (Joe) Proulx, their son Brody, and Sarah; Todd M. Ake, his wife Jodi, and their three children, Zachary (Jessica), their daughter Meaya and son Jaxson, Ethan (Ashley), and Kaela. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Mary Ann Hust and Jolene Cook.

    Visitation is Monday, October 19th from 6-7pm, Rosary following at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at 10:30am all at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Committal to follow at CedarVale Cemetery.

    Our deepest sympathies to Uncle Lew and your family on the passing of Aunt Pat. I was very sad to hear the news and I'm sorry I am unable to be there in person to offer my condolences to each one of you. I feel fortunate to have kept in contact with Aunt Pat through our Christmas cards with stories of the past year. Again my heart felt sympathy to you Uncle Lew.
